The day after my last chemo and for 3 days after that I cried and cried. No idea what was going on, but my dr. said I may want to increase my meds as a lot of women go thru a depression once chemo is done. So once we upped my meds I am starting to feel better. This is such a crazy roller coaster ride!!
I went in for blood work on Thurs and my counts were borderline. So since I was weak, tired and dizzy we decided to do another transfusion. It was a long day but today I am feeling better. Still a little weak but defenatly better than I was yesterday!! I even was able to go to MOPS today!!!
I did get a call from the surgeon's office about my surgery and was nervous they were going to change my date. Thankfully it was just confirming it and on April 21st I am having surgery. I am actually looking forward to the next step. Just to keep moving on with treatment so that I can heal and move on. It gets tiring thinking about and fighting cancer. I am SO ready to be in remission!!
Hi Kerri,
ReplyDeleteI am glad you made it through this blood transfusion! I am so sad that this is sooooo hard! I have a friend going through the exact same thing and she is up and down and feeling yucky!
Praying and praying for remission for you.

I'm praying for you! You're doing a great job moving 1 foot in front of the other! You're getting closer to a "new kind of normal"...doesn't this seem like the last hill in the race (and think of how many hills God has already helped you climb)?
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that I have been praying and praying for you all this week and covering you in prayer today, this surgery day!
Hope all went well and you are home with your family. I will continue to pray and pray for you.
Blessings,
